Our ‘empowered learning’ philosophy has been developed from over 180 years’ experience of educating girls. This student focused, teacher-led approach, inspires a love of learning, develops independent thinking and nurtures each girl as an individual.
Girls at Woldingham achieve. In 2025, half of A Level grades were A*/A and more than 80% of grades were A*-B. At GCSE, half of all results were at grades 9-8 and 70% at grades 9-7.
Since September 2025, girls in Year 7 follow the Marden Diploma, a bespoke two-year programme designed to be holistic, academically rigorous and inspiring. The Marden Diploma equips students with the skills to flourish at Woldingham and gives them an excellent foundation to tackle the challenges of GCSE from Year 9.
Woldingham is committed to meeting the academic stretch of every student. We offer a range of programmes and initiatives to provide stretch for our academic scholars and high-achievers, which support them to grow, fulfil their academic potential and take up places at top universities.
