For the third year running, the Woldingham community responded generously to a book drive, organised by Woldingham’s Librarian Ms Amanda Owens, to support the important work of The Children’s Book Project. The 500 children’s books, once checked and packed up by Ms Owens and Year 9 library volunteers Clarice and Maria Eduarda (pictured), were collected by a representative from the charity and will be distributed to children in London who have few or no books of their own at home.
