Mr Edward Amponsah, Second in Maths Department
The Maths Department was delighted to learn that all five of our Lower Sixth students taking further maths A Level (pictured) were awarded a Certificate of Merit in the Mathematical Olympiad for Girls, with Upper Sixth student Selina bringing the total to a fantastic six.
This annual UK-wide Olympiad, organised by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust, comprises five very challenging problems, as you can see by clicking here, and the Certificates of Merit won by Cherry, Hannah, Julia, Lara, Selina and Zana are an excellent achievement.
