Woldingham School is profoundly saddened to hear the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Our heartfelt condolences go to the Royal Family and to the British people both at home and overseas.
In her long reign, Her Majesty The Queen gave exceptional service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, providing exemplary leadership over many decades. As a notable champion of young people in education and as an example of integrity, her legacy will remain for many generations to come.
At school, and with our wider community spread over the world, we will mark the impact of the Queen’s extraordinary life with prayer and thanksgiving.
Prayers will be offered for Queen Elizabeth when the school community gathers together in the auditorium for this purpose at 11.00 am on Friday 9 September.
