Woldingham hosts lunch for local parishioners

5 July 2022

Fr Gerry Devlin, Chaplain

On Monday 4 July we welcomed local parishioners from the Sacred Heart parish in Caterham and the Anglican parish in Woldingham. It was an opportunity for our guests to meet with others and share in a lovely lunch. Our Sacred Heart Ribbon, Isabella, organised a group of Lower Sixth students to host and serve at table. It was a lovely afternoon, enjoyed by all.

Later in the afternoon, I took a very generous donation of £6,500 of new sportswear, and other items recently donated to our special collection for Ukraine, to the Polish community in Croydon and saw them loaded onto a pallet. These items will be on their way to Ukraine later this week.

A big thank you to everyone for supporting the work of the Chaplaincy and for giving their time freely to support Chaplaincy groups and activities throughout the academic year.
