Mrs Caroline Treacy, Director of Sport
The first fortnight back after half term has been busy with fixtures and tournaments and we have seen both team and individual sporting success.
Our U13 netballers (pictured) played superbly to win the District A and B team tournaments, beating Reigate School in both finals. There were some well-contested netball matches against Priors Field, with our U14s putting on a fantastic display to secure two wins. And Woldingham notched up two more wins against Reigate School on Tuesday this week, this time for our U12A and B teams in the District League.
Our Senior hockey squad took on Kingston Grammar recently and, despite losing, showed some superb play. A special mention for Anna M, Year 10, who stepped up to play as the 1st XI goalkeeper and made some excellent saves.
On the individual sporting front, we’re delighted that Annabelle H, Year 8, has been selected for London Hockey. And swimmers Maddie L, Lower Sixth, and Lara S, Year 8, both recorded new PBs at the Surrey Swimming Gala, with Maddie winning the silver medal in the 200m fly. Congratulations to all.
