We are delighted that the hard work and dedication of our hockey players has resulted in two students, Rosie (Year 11) and Alex (Lower Sixth) being selected for the Performance Centre, and Surrey county squad selections for Lily (Year 9) and Anna (Year 10). Many congratulations to all four students.
In other hockey news, the U16 XI (formed of Year 10 & 11 players) took part in the Surrey U16 Cup, beating Priorsfield and drawing with Tormead to progress to the regional round of the Tier 3 competition. In netball, the U16A VII enjoyed success with a 20-16 win over Reigate School in their District League.
Our Lower Junior (Year 7) and Junior (Years 8 & 9) swimmers competed at the Royal Albert and Alexandra School 25m District Gala, with wins for Lara (Year 8) in the backstroke and a superb last leg of the relay for Jessica (Year 7). Chloe (Year 9) performed brilliantly in her breaststroke heat and we await the final gala results.
