Duchesne House enjoys a hearty feast

Duchesne House Feast is an event that never fails to disappoint, and this year was certainly no exception. Our celebration began with Mass, in which Head of Duchesne House Miss Banton played the piano and both House Captains gave readings about our patron St Rose Philippine Duchesne’s inspiring actions and her legacy that still lives on within the school community.

After Mass, the buzzing members of Duchesne made their way up to Marden dining hall for a Queen of Hearts themed feast, cooked by our catering team, who did an amazing job. The dining hall was decked out with bunting made of playing cards, chocolate hearts and beautifully decorated tables. During the meal we played games, did emoji themed quizzes, and sang songs.

The Duchesne spirit shone through the whole dining hall, which was extra special after not being able to be together as a House for such a long time.
