On Friday 12 November we were delighted to welcome Bishop Richard Moth, Bishop of Arundel & Brighton, to celebrate Confirmation Mass in our Chapel. The celebration had to be postponed three times due to COVID restrictions and we are so grateful to the Bishop for his patience and understanding.
On the evening, 25 students received the Sacrament of Confirmation in a joyful celebration enjoyed by students, staff, parents, sponsors, governors and invited guests, who joined together in prayer. After Mass we shared a buffet supper in the Goddard Room and everyone had the opportunity to meet and chat with the Bishop.
It was a great privilege for me and Mr Ross, Head of Theology & Sacred Heart Coordinator, to work closely with the students during their sacramental preparation course, both on screen and in person. Please remember them in your prayers as they continue in their lifelong journey of faith.
