Year 11 art students enjoyed an evening on-line workshop with established artist Jeanette Barnes on Tuesday 27 April. The focus of the session was for them to respond to the urban landscape, working from images of London, experimenting with their mark-making. The students explored using a range of media, including charcoal and felt tip, and were encouraged to create images that evoked the sense of energy and movement in city life. The results were impressive.
