A fond farewell from Mrs Giblin

A fond farewell from Mrs Giblin

14 January 2021

I hope you had a lovely Christmas despite the restrictions and that you and yours remain in good health. The new year often heralds a new beginning, as is the case for me, and whilst I am very excited for my new role, I am sad to leave Woldingham. It has been a real pleasure getting to know you and a true privilege to journey with you and your daughters as they navigate senior school and endeavour to realise their potential.

I remain intensely proud of the girls and I am always impressed to see the wonderful young women they become. They exemplify the words of Madeleine Sophie Barat by being positive contributors in the world they enter, “your example even more than your words will be an eloquent lesson to the world”. I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to you for your generous well wishes and gifts. I was so touched by your kindness.

I remain part of the community as a parent so hopefully when times are more normal I will see you at school. Meanwhile, take care and all the very best for 2021.
