Over the past couple of weeks it has been a privilege to celebrate the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion with India, Year 9, and Fleur, Year 10. I also celebrated the sacrament of First Holy Communion with Lilia, whose dad, Peter, is the Director of Liturgical Music in the School Chapel and teaches clarinet in the Music department, and whose mum, Louisa, teaches flute.
The First Holy Communion Mass was due to be celebrated in May but, sadly, we had to postpone due to COVID-19 restrictions. We are looking forward to celebrating a whole school community Mass with the students, parents and invited guests when it is safe to do so. Please keep all the students in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to grow in their own personal faith journey.
