A joyful and happy Mass for Year 10

A joyful and happy Mass for Year 10

14 October 2020

Fr Gerard Devlin, Chaplain

On Tuesday 13 October we celebrated the Year 10 Mass in the School Chapel.  Students were encouraged to reflect on our Sacred Heart Goal for the year, personal and active faith, and how we are all given our own unique gifts and talents, which we are asked by God to use each day to make a difference in our school community and beyond.

Year 10 students were involved in the preparation of the Mass, selecting the hymns and the music used on the day, and read the bidding prayers, which reminded us of our responsibility to pray with and for one another each day.  It was a joyful and happy celebration. The students went forth renewed in the knowledge that their uniqueness and individual talents complement one another and make Woldingham a very special community, where we all live and work together and care for one another each day.
