2020 Prize Day goes virtual

2020 Prize Day goes virtual

3 July 2020

Like many of our traditional activities this term, the 2020 Prize Day and Celebration of Achievement was a virtual filmed event rather than live but it was special none the less.

Huge congratulations to all students awarded prizes this year. Woldingham prizes are prestigious, recognising achievement of the highest level. While students weren’t able to receive their prizes in person, all the winners were featured in the programme and announced on screen. Prizes will be sent to students in the next few weeks.

As well as our usual review of highlights from the year accompanied with some fantastic musical performances from students, Father Gerry led the Liturgy, we heard from Robert Parkinson, Chair of Governors, and we had a wonderful and inspirational Head Girl’s Address from Sarah Adegbite.  Headmistress Mrs Hutchinson made her final Prize Day address with heartfelt and moving words as she leaves Woldingham after six years here. The film concluded with a celebration and appreciation of Mrs Hutchinson’s time at Woldingham. She will be missed.

If you weren’t able to join live, or just want to watch it again, you can see it here. The event programme can be downloaded here.
