Bluebells, beans and peas on the menu in this week’s Gardeners’ Wold

6 May 2020

In episode two of Gardeners’  Wold  Mr Ross takes us into Marden Park’s beautiful bluebell woods so we can enjoy this year’s wonderful display.

Headmistress Mrs Hutchinson is planning a long and bountiful pea harvest this summer. Her plants are mostly flourishing, but she has a stern word with a couple of underperformers.

Finally, Mrs Deaney, Head of Psychology, welcomes us to her allotment where we learn about three sisters planting.

Gardeners’  Wold  is produced by Head of Theology Mr Ross who, living on site, is able to keep us up to date with all things green at Woldingham. His inspiration was the long-running BBC Television programme, Gardeners’  World.
