Woldingham cultivates its own gardening show

30 April 2020

Appropriately during National Gardening Week, Woldingham has launched its home-grown Gardeners’  Wold.  This great new idea came from Head of Theology Mr Ross who, living on site, will be able to keep us up to date with all things green at Woldingham.

In the inaugural episode, Mrs Hutchinson gives an update on the latest ‘growings’ on in the Hutchinson vegetable patch, advising on how to transplant courgettes. Mr Ross brings a view from Woldingham’s valley and special guest Mr Rattle shares his gardening inspiration. If any other members of the Woldingham community would like to share their gardening inspiration, please get in touch with Mr Ross. We hope you enjoy the first episode, which you can view here.

For anyone unfamiliar with the inspiration behind Woldingham’s new show, Gardeners'  World  is a long-running BBC Television programme about gardening. It was launched in 1968 and is still going strong in 2020.
