Successes on the pitch, in the pool and on wet and muddy terrain

28 November 2019

Our sports teams continue to perform well.

In netball, our Senior 2nd and 3rd VII beat Reigate Grammar in recent fixtures, while the U14s made it a clean sweep against Royal Russell.  The rain has stopped a fair bit of play this week, with matches against Caterham sadly being called off. The U12B team, however, had the pleasure of playing inside and won convincingly against Oakwood School in the district league.

On the hockey pitch we’ve continued to see success for the U13A and B teams, most recently against Burgess Hill.  Our swimmers have been in great form: the Lower Juniors and Juniors finished 3rd and 2nd respectively in their recent district gala at Royal Albert and Alexander School.

The cross country season is in full swing.  Year 7 and 8 girls ran very well in the Junior Knole Run in Sevenoaks on Friday 15 November.  Amie Gould finished in a fantastic 16th place in a field of 200 and Ela Pemberton came in 28th.  A huge well done to all our runners who acquitted themselves extremely well on a tough, hilly and very muddy course
