On Monday, we hosted a lunch in the Goddard Room for parishioners from the Sacred Heart Church in Caterham, All Saints Church in Oxted, St Ambrose Church in Warlingham and St Paul’s Church in Woldingham. We were also joined by residents from Elizabeth Court Care Home and Longmead House Care Home, who are well known to our Lower Sixth students as they visit them each week.
It was a very enjoyable day and I would like to thank Sue Hooper, Lesley Cheesman and the Catering Department for their hard work to make sure that the event was a huge success. The sun shone brightly and everyone was in a happy and joyful mood as they took time to reminisce about their previous visits to Woldingham. It was a great privilege to welcome fifty guests into our school community and staff and guests all valued and enjoyed the time we spent together. After photographs on the lawn, everyone left with a smile on their face, looking forward to meeting up again next year.
