We enjoyed a wonderful, celebratory evening for the A Level and Lower Sixth Fine Art and Textiles exhibition; it was a fantastic showcase for the many and varied talents of the students. They have worked incredibly hard to produce dynamic, skilful and ambitious outcomes, based on a whole range of concepts, including psychopaths, birth, homelessness, the sublime, FGM and the political landscape of North Korea, to name a few! Installation and film work featured heavily this year and this is such a challenging way for students to work. I am immensely proud of all of their achievements and wish them the best of luck in the future, especially the seven who are off to art school.
A huge thank you to my Art department colleagues for their hard work and dedication. We are all looking forward to a well-deserved break!
