Despite the weather, there have been some excellent sport performances in recent weeks. Ten girls were selected to represent South Surrey at the Surrey Schools Athletics Championships and Charlotte Alexander won the Senior Girls 1500m and Emma Kekwick was an Intermediate 200m finalist.
The U12s came 3rd at their District Athletics Championships, out of 15 schools, with excellent performances from Charlotte, Tara, Marina and Amie, who all finished in the top three of their events. Hannah came third in the high jump and also came fourth in both the 100m and 200m finals.
In cricket, the U15 and U13’s have enjoyed wins against RAAS, with the girls really embracing the new sport. We look forward to more fixtures before the end of the academic year.
