A rather wet, windy and, very briefly, snowy November has meant that the sports tour in sunny South Africa is a fairly distant memory, but hasn’t impacted on sporting success: Year 8’s Rosie and Milly were both selected for the Surrey Development netball programme; our U14 XI were Surrey Tournament runners up, losing the final on flicks, and our U13 cricketers won their qualifying round of the Lady Taveners schools indoor competition.
In cross country, Charlotte Alexander was the first U17 finisher in the combined U17/U20 race in last weekend’s British Athletics Cross Challenge in Liverpool. This puts her in an excellent position for GB selection for the Great Scottish Run in January and the World Championships in March.
