Last week, seven Woldingham students and two members of staff, made our way up to Newcastle to join other Sacred Heart Schools from all over the country for the annual Heart Fest. After an evening of reflective activities and a good night’s sleep, we were guests at the Sacred Heart Catholic High School and Primary School in Fenham. On a day themed with this year’s Sacred Heart goal, Personal Growth, we rode bicycles, made pasta and danced, finishing off with a wonderful liturgy in the school’s new auditorium, named after St Rose Philippine Duchesne. We had a great time and are grateful to everyone who was involved in planning this event.
