Last month, students studying German continued the very successful tradition of a visit to our partner Sacred Heart school, the Sophie Barat Schule, in Hamburg. The Woldingham girls had fun living with German families for a week, giving them the opportunity to learn more about German lifestyle and culture, as well as practising the language, of course. They also had the chance to visit interesting sights in Hamburg, Berlin and Bremen and to take German lessons. Back in England, the Sophie Barat Schule girls visited London, Brighton and Tunbridge Wells and thoroughly enjoyed the immersive experience in an English boarding school.
