We were delighted to welcome back over 140 alumnae and their families, to our annual Old Girls’ Day last Sunday; past staff and Sisters from the Sacred Heart also joined us.
After Mass in the Chapel and a fantastic lunch in Marden Dining Room, a delightfully sunny afternoon of reunions, reminiscing and a 175 Anniversary Treasure Hunt ensued.
The leavers of 2013, 2008, 1998, 1988 and 1978 had their milestone reunions, with some Old Girls meeting up for the first time since they had left. Perhaps not all that surprisingly, given that guests had travelled all the way from Wales, Scotland, Spain, Malta, Germany, the USA and Hong Kong.
