I’m delighted to report that our cricket team won both matches in the U12 Smash It tournament earlier this week and have progressed to the next round, which will take place at the end of June. The tournament lives up to its name as teams of eight players have eight overs in which to bat and ‘smash’ as many runs as they can - and there were some super sixes from Rosie Johnson and Ella Kennett.
Hot off the presses, we had some great results at yesterday's K2 District South East Surrey U14 and U15 Athletics. Overall, our U14 junior girls came second and our U15 intermediate girls came third.

Mia Shanly won high jump (1.40m)
Phoebe Nicolls third in long jump (4.35m) and second in the 200m
Sophie Foster second in discus (19.52m) and second in javelin (25.99m)

Congratulations also go two students who have achieved success in their sporting endeavours outside school. Carriage driver Olivia Routledge, and pony Spikey, are now British Champions, having come first in the Intermediate Pony class at the recent Indoor National Championships, while Georgia Velasco came second overall in the South London Floor and Vault Gym Competition and has qualified for the regional finals in November.
