Woldingham’s House Music Festival culminated with the Young Musicans Final just a few days into the new term. Our talented musicians clearly hadn’t been taking it too easy over the Christmas break and treated an appreciative audience to a varied programme that included piano and percussion, Chopin and Schönberg.
The difficult task of adjudication fell to award-winning pianist, Jong-Gyung Park. Before awarding the trophies, Ms Park told the audience how impressed she had been by the talent and joy that our students had brought to the stage.

Best Wind Performance - Stephanie Chau
Best String Performance - Olivia Hardy
Best Piano Performance - Maya Suen
Most Outstanding Vocalist - Felicity Deacon
Best Ensemble Performance - Teni Ako, Olivia Hardy, Nicole Williams
Most Promising Musician grades 1-4 - Nicole Williams
Most Promising Musician Overall - Victoria Grechukhina
Most Outstanding Musician - Maya Suen
