What a very special experience the Care Home Carol Services were on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week! For this annual event we take girls to sing carols at three different senior citizen homes in Caterham, as well as bringing them afternoon tea. The staff at the homes explained how they really look forward to this event to kick-start their Christmas season and how important music is to the happiness and well-being of their residents. Talking to some of residents as we served the tea was a highlight - we even discovered a lady that used to teach Spanish and French at Woldingham many years ago. Thanks to all the girls, Miss Andrews and Father Gerry for putting a big smile on so many faces.
