On the first full day of term the Goddard and Wilson Rooms were full to bursting with girls visiting ClubsFest – a chance for them to find out what was going to be offered on the extra-curricular schedule this term; to meet the staff; to find out more and to express their interest.
As always, some attracted enormous interest such as Cookery, Wellness and the main priority activities offered by Music, Drama and PE. This year we are also pleased to be introducing some new activities including “Jaguar - Formula 1 in Motion” (girls make cars and then race them, making adjustments to the cars to improve their speed), Dark Room Photography, Street Dance, Mandarin, Yoga and Rock Climbing.
Within the next couple of weeks the majority of activities will have started and it is hoped, as always, that girls will take advantage of the variety, be it to keep fit, meet new friends, learn something new, improve their skills or just to have fun.
