With more students taking part in our annual dance show than ever before, Get Up & Dance With Glee! was testament to just how popular and fast-growing dance is at Woldingham - and nothing short of spectacular!
This highly entertaining evening offered a very enthusiastic audience a fantastic array of dance styles, from contemporary through to musical theatre, brought to the stage by students across all year groups. The performances were a wonderful mix of the uplifting, such as the fantastic finale to Boogie Wonderland, and the deeply moving, with students studying GCSE Dance delivering powerful performance pieces exploring the separation of loved ones during wartime. Throughout, performances were thought-provoking, emotionally resonant, and beautifully executed.
Above all, the show demonstrated how dance can give students a platform to grow in confidence and express their creativity in a truly unique way. The talent on display was extraordinary, and the vibrancy of the whole evening left the audience inspired. Congratulations to every student who made this such a memorable evening.
