Sports Day 2025 on Wednesday 25 June was a truly memorable occasion, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a wonderful sense of community. On both track and the field, the atmosphere was one of determination, team spirit, and joy and it was wonderful so many students fully engrossed in all aspects of an afternoon of sport - competing in events, supporting their Houses, encouraging their peers, and celebrating each other’s successes. As well as competing as members of Barat, Digby, Duchesne or Stuart for the House Athletics Cup, all competitors were in contention for the Victrix Ludorum, a prize awarded to the highest scoring athlete, using scores from English Schools Athletics relative to age. Congratulations to Daisy L in Year 9 (Digby), whose wins in 800m, 1500m and long jump saw her awarded Victrix Ludorum, and also to Digby House on winning the House Athletics Cup this year.
Whether breaking records, cheering from the sidelines, or volunteering to help, every contribution made the day a resounding success. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event — it was a fantastic showcase of all that makes our school community so special.
