Woldingham School is a true community of learning in the fullest sense. Central to our philosophy is the belief that academic and personal growth are two sides of the same coin. We are proud of our excellent track record of public examination results, yet we are much more than an ‘exam factory.’ Our ultimate aim is to nurture confident, happy and successful young women who appreciate the wonders of the world we live in and are well equipped to make a positive difference to that world.
Our unique THRIVE programme aims to help every student develop the growth mindset, resilience and self-worth to truly enjoy their successes and learn from their setbacks.
Our curriculum is broad and balanced but also offers each girl the chance to develop her areas of personal interest and strength. All students study English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, three Sciences, Religious Studies and at least one foreign language up until GCSE/IGCSE.
Our Sixth Form offers a range of 27 different A Level subjects. Students also have the opportunity to pursue an Extended Project Qualification, in which they can develop their research and presentation skills in a particular area of personal interest.
Throughout their time at Woldingham, the girls can supplement their curriculum learning with a range of academic enrichment opportunities – ranging from societies for debating, law and philosophy through to extra qualifications in areas such as Mathematics and Greek.
