The requirements are for a person with proven practical skills, who is well organised, enthusiastic, creative, can work independently and within a team. The Art Technician works very closely with all members of the Art Department and would need to assist in preparing lessons and providing practical support for staff and students throughout the day. The Art Technician must have good communication and time management skills and be able to relate well to students. The person could be either a qualified artist, art related background or someone with the qualities already mentioned, and would need to have an easy manner, and an enthusiasm for the subject.

We are seeking a well-qualified, experienced and dynamic Head of English to lead and develop the teaching of this important and popular subject. We pride ourselves on ensuring that the students in our care receive the very best teaching and co-curricular opportunities in each year. 

English is a core subject for students in Years 7 to 11, and all students are grouped in sets according to their ability. In Key Stage 3, English courses are literature based, but also feature units on media. In Key Stage 4, all students study IGCSE English Language (Edexcel 4EA1) and GCSE English Literature (Edexcel 1ET0), and they consistently achieve excellent results. Outdoor Adventure and Education Manager

To lead, manage and develop the Outdoor Adventure & Education programme at Woldingham.   This involves planning and delivering engaging outdoor learning experiences in school grounds including high ropes, zip wires, archery, bushcraft, team building and our outdoor classroom, as well as inspiring and training teachers to deliver more regular outdoor learning themselves. A programme of events will be devised for groups to access.

This is a pivotal role at Woldingham and plays a crucial role in embedding the outdoor learning programme within school curriculum as well as for the benefit of the local community through outreach and commercial hire of our facilities.

You will be a skilled facilitator, able to adapt your style to work to meet the needs of the group and their learning outcomes, which includes children and adults. You will have knowledge in how outdoor learning can benefit children and young people and how it supports the different elements of the National Curriculum.

Applicants should have extensive experience of delivering outdoor learning sessions in a variety of different settings and feel confident and knowledgeable enough to train and develop teachers. We would like you to be educated to A level standard and hold at least two formal NGB/Professional qualifications of leading outdoor learning activities. A current first aid qualification and driving licence is essential.

General Graduate Assistant (Residential)

Resident Tutor - Sports Graduate

Approximately 40 hours per week split between the PE department and undertaking boarding duties.
