The magnificent mansion in its beautiful grounds at Marden Park provides the ideal exclusive wedding venue in Surrey for your special day. The stunning house is nestled within a 700 acre estate in a serene valley near the Surrey / Kent border, yet conveniently close to London and the M25. A wedding booked at Marden Park ensures that it is your own country mansion for the day for your own exclusive wedding in the Surrey countryside. We offer graceful rooms licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, a chapel for Catholic ceremonies as well as offering the perfect Surrey weddings venue for your reception. Events are popular so do get in.
A confirmed booking with us provides you with a suite of elegant function rooms for your exclusive use. This provides the Stephens room for welcome drinks leading on to the terrace, dining in the striking wooden panelled Wilson room, the Nicholson room bar and the majestic Goddard room for a band or disco. The gardens adjacent to the mansion and the Pergola walk may also be used for your wedding reception and provide a stunning backdrop for wedding photographs set within the beautiful Surrey countryside. There is ample car parking at the venue.
Blessings or wedding ceremonies in Surrey for those of the Catholic faith can take place in the intimate chapel with its stained glass windows. If you choose to hold your wedding service in the chapel it is still necessary to contact your local Registry office and to make arrangements with your local priest.
We are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies in Surrey and can accommodate up to 130 guests in the elegant panelled Goddard room or a maximum of 85 in the more intimate Stephens room. Leatherhead Registration Service (tel. 01372 832806) will provide a Registrar for a ceremony at Woldingham. It is vital to contact the service as soon as you have a date for your event. Sadly we are not able to organise this on your behalf and cannot take responsibility for any failure to have a Registrar for a confirmed booking with us.
We can seat up to 130 guests for a silver service meal in the Wilson Room. For weekend weddings we stipulate a minimum of 100 guests for the Wedding Breakfast. Our highly professional in-house catering team pride themselves on their flexible approach and work with you to define a menu to meet your needs.
We can also provide an evening buffet, to be served after the main reception, for up to 250 guests. We offer a fully licensed bar which can operate as a cash bar or on account as you wish.

“The venue is really beautiful, everything is very well maintained and has that real wow factor. As we live locally we’ve been fortunate to see the gardens throughout the year and they look lovely in every season. Unfortunately for us we had rain on our wedding day, but the rooms were big enough to hold all of our guests comfortably. Once we’d met Clare (Director of Events) we knew we wanted her in control of our day. Peter (Catering Manager), Scott and Emily were extremely helpful. One of the major factors for us choosing the venue was the fact we were able to provide our own wine and prosecco. “The venue is absolutely fantastic. Being able to have either a civil or religious ceremony on the same site makes it really easy. Having separate rooms for food, dancing and bar works really well. The gardens are extensive and beautiful – we got so many gorgeous photos including on our engagement shoot. The outdoor terrace is perfect for a summer evening, but it was reassuring to know we’d be fine staying inside if it did rain on the day. The food was exquisite. Everyone commented on how great the food was. The staff were all very professional and nothing was too much trouble. What you don’t see listed is the amazing level of service from when you book to the day and what the team do behind the scenes on the day. This all meant our families could enjoy the day rather than worrying about logistics. So overall it is very reasonable. We really hope we can have another event there it was so good!”

We made use of the Chapel so our guests only had the very short walk to the Mansion for drinks and canapés, which were excellent. The wedding breakfast was complimented by a number of our guests.
