Our 1st XI hockey team became the District champions on 7th October after a hard fought tournament at RGS Hartswood. The victory hinged on a match against Oxted School which was won 3-0. Captain Rhianna Brown, who scored two of the goals with powerful shots from the edge of the area, felt her team had worked hard and was "proud" of their display. The stunning third goal, scored by Katie Heywood into the roof of the net, left the goalkeeper with no chance of a save and rounded off a terrific display.
