Life at Woldingham extends well beyond the classroom and we firmly believe in the importance of a well-rounded education, where activities beyond the taught curriculum enrich everyone’s experiences.
A key strength of ours is the outstanding quality of our co-curricular programme which runs at lunchtimes, after school and at weekends. Whether competing at national level, or simply tackling something new for the fun of it, we ensure that the girls are given maximum opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities in order to give them the best possible balance between their studies and their broader life-skills.
A priority system ensures that girls can participate in the full range of activities on offer at Woldingham. This means that girls can join music groups, play in sports teams and take part in drama productions without the need to choose between the three. The needs of both day girls and boarders are borne in mind and, with guidance from tutors and pastoral staff, girls are encouraged to find a fulfilling range of different activities to complement their studies. From archery to zumba, from creative writing to wellness, there is something for everyone.
