Facilities A confirmed booking with us provides you with a suite of rooms for your exclusive use. There are four main rooms which we use according to you needs, this provides a room for the welcome drinks, meeting and greeting; a separate dining facility in the panelled Wilson room, the bar and a further room for a band or disco. The gardens adjacent to the mansion and Pergola walk may also be used. It may be possible to hire just the Stephens or the Goddard room only for a civil wedding ceremony on a weekday. There is ample car parking at the school. To view a selection of photographs of the venue please click here Chapel Blessings or wedding ceremonies for those of the Catholic faith can take place in the school chapel. If you choose to have a wedding service then it is still necessary to organise the Registrar. For any ceremony taking place in the chapel you will also need to make arrangements with your local Priest. Civil Ceremonies We are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and can accommodate up to 100 guests in the panelled Goddard room or a maximum of 80 in the more intimate Stephens room. Registrar Leatherhead Registration Service (telephone 01372 832806) will provide a Registrar for a ceremony at Woldingham. It is vital to contact the service as soon as we have established provisional dates for your event as they get very busy yet are only able to take bookings up to a year in advance. Sadly we are not able to organise this on your behalf as the Registrar will only deal with the couple themselves. We cannot take responsibility for any failure to have a Registrar for a confirmed booking with us. Wedding Breakfasts We can seat up to 130 guests for a silver service meal in the Wilson Room. Should you be seeking a larger event then we could accommodate using a combination of rooms. For weekend events or Friday weddings we stipulate a minimum of 100 guests for the Wedding Breakfast, smaller events can be accommodated following weekday weddings. You can choose a full banquet or a simpler 3 course meal; our caterers provide themselves on their flexible approach and work with you to define a menu to meet your needs. Should you wish to extend the event into an evening reception we can also provide an evening buffet, to be served after the main reception, for up to 250 guests. We have a fully licensed bar which can operate as a cash bar or on account as you wish. You may provide your own wine for the initial drinks reception and wedding breakfast (we do charge corkage to cover glasses, service, ice etc) or we can organise wines for you.
