Gliding to Success

Once they had completed the hunt and collected the plane parts, they were given time to assemble and decorate their plane, taking care to test it for flying.  The girls then took their planes to the ‘Pony Field’ to test them for distance and time in the air.  They were given three attempts, having the opportunity to adjust the weight of the plane’s nose for each attempt.  Great fun was had by all the girls, as they raced around the grounds, searching for the parts of their glider.  A list of the winners and the distances they achieved is below.
