CCF Annual Inspection 27th April 2008

Due to the closed weekend for the Oliver production only 4 girls were able to attend the inspection but their smart turn out and professionalism in their tasks was obvious for all to see.

Olivia Lucas was a member of the winning RAF team in the tent race. In this race, the RAF and Army compete to erect a 9’x9’ tent, run the entire team through it and then put it away in the fastest time. Olivia was also a very competent guide and led the spectators around stands of activities that are offered by the CCF. These included rock climbing on the new climbing wall, patrolling, First Aid, Drill, Signalling, and camping and cooking in the field.

Henrietta Stockdale (Army) and Natalie Light (RAF) were well concealed in their camo cream and twigs in the patrolling display and their patrol successfully stalked and “killed” an enemy force.

Aya was involved in the signals stand, and was able to demonstrate to the spectators how to use a field phone.

The girls’ turnout was impeccable and their drill performed to a high standard. Well done. Plt Of Andrews
