Athletics Success for Woldingham Girls

On Tuesday 13 May Year 9 and 10 athletic teams competed in the annual District championships in Crawley. It proved to be a very successful day for our athletes! Out of the 13 schools competing the Year 10 team finished in 2nd place AND the Year 9 team were 1st.

There were many tremendous individual performances

The Relay team   1st

Year 10’s
Lily Lewis    1st 100m, 2nd  200m,
1st  Triple Jump
Natalie Hackman
2nd   Hurdles
Ritsuko Saito   2nd 1500m
The Relay team  2nd

As a result of their achievements Georgina, Phoebe and Natalie have been selected to compete for South Surrey in the County Championships in June.
