Science in the 21st Century

As one of the leading girls? schools in the country, Woldingham School has an excellent track record in the Sciences. We see a robust Science training as critical in preparing our pupils to become tomorrow?s leaders and influencers, not only in medicine, engineering, teaching and research but also in the commercial world of technology.

As part of our commitment to promoting awareness of the importance of Science education and its practical application, Woldingham School is hosting a Science in the 21st Century Symposium at the school with leading figures in the field to discuss a number of issues.

The Conference will have four key note speakers covering the following:

1.  A review of our need for scientists and a scientifically literate society

2.  A journey through the research underpinning recent developments in the new science curriculum

3.  A description of how the Twenty First Century Science project puts theory into practice

4. Our approach to science at Woldingham School.
