I had a really fun time skiing in France, especially as I had only ever been skiing once before when I was little. The weather was great, there was plenty of snow and loads of sun. Sometimes we got really hot skiing and went out without our jackets; instead we just wore jumpers. But one morning it was really cold and snowy and while we were skiing, we were up quite high and there was a blizzard. It was quite hard to see and absolutely freezing. So after lunch we took the bus to Val d’Isere and went shopping.

Of course by then the weather was fine for skiing! After dinner every evening, there was an activity for us. One night there was a quiz and our team won! Another night we went out on a small slope and went bum boarding. We had lots of races and it was really fun!(although it did hurt quite a bit when I lost control at the bottom)! On the night before the last night we all went bowling and that as really good! And on the last night we had a fashion show using bin bags and loo-roll, which was hilarious! The actual skiing was really fun! By the end of the week our group had been down some really steep black slopes that I’d seen at the beginning and said I would never go down them and nobody could make me! So we actually did quite well! At the end of the week we all received a badge for the level we had achieved. It was a very enjoyable trip and I’m really looking forward to next year!

For the ski trip went to Tignes in France.  We had many activities after skiing but the best of all was the actual skiing. The snow was excellent through out the week. I even enjoyed skiing on a red run in a blizzard.  Different teachers came into our ski groups each day to support and help us.  We had a fashion show and I won it by wearing toilet roll and a bin bag. I was emotional when we left school and emotional when we left Tignes.

We arrived at Geneva Airport on the 1st of April, eager for a great weeks skiing, in the beautiful Tignes. The skiing was brilliant, and we were so lucky to have such great conditions. In the evenings we took part in a number of different activities such as, bowling, bum-boarding and we also took a trip to Val D’ Isere, so we could spend some time shopping and meeting up with friends that were in Val D’Isere at the time. Overall we spent a great week skiing in what Mr Murtagh described as the “Best Trip Yet”

This years Ski Trip to Tignes in France was very enjoyable and a great success. Most days the snow, skiing and weather conditions were perfect. Some mornings we would wake up to fresh new power snow which had fallen the night before. There was such a variety of pistes and all of them were very enjoyable to ski down. Everyone has some really great memories such as Mr Murtagh skiing off piste and then falling over and losing his ski and boot which were still attached together! There were some classic moments, and now we have experienced Tigne I’m sure we would all love to go again on a future trip. Thank you Mr Murtagh and his team!

The ski trip was brilliant. The weather was great, with the exception of one day. We had great fun singing whilst skiing down the mountain. We had a great time at Le Grotti du Yetti, which was conveniently close to the hotel, and the best bar in Tignes. Year 11’s word of the trip was WIG! We all had great fun!
